Chief Executive Officer
Mark is a seasoned enterprise IT leader, having held leadership positions at BMC Software, IBM Corporation, and Dell. Mark has most recently served as CFO / COO of Personify, a leader in association management software and services for the enterprise member-centric market; Q2, a leading provider of virtual banking solutions to regional and community financial institutions; and SumTotal Systems, a Strategic Human Capital Management (HCM) software company where he helped lead the company’s global expansion.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arizona State University and a master’s degree from The Ohio State University.
President and Chief Strategy Officer
Chris has been serving the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) industry in the creation, delivery, and support of enterprise content management software since 1995. Working as a consultant, software engineer and executive at multiple ECM companies, Chris has experience in delivering quality software products to a rapidly growing and changing industry. Prior to joining Gimmal LLC, Chris founded RecordLion and served as the President before being acquired by Gimmal. He also served as the CTO of KnowledgeLake, a company he co-founded, for 13 years, which he helped grow up to its acquisition by Fujitsu, one of the largest technology firms in the world.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri State University. He enjoys working with the community in industry areas, previously serving on the board of the St. Louis Chapter of ARMA International, speaking at conferences and writing about technologies and trends in all types of information and records management. He was also a co-author of “SharePoint Server 2010 Enterprise Content Management,” a book to help administrators understand how to manage content in SharePoint through all phases of the information lifecycle.
Chief Financial Officer
Lester brings extensive financial leadership experience to Gimmal as its CFO. Previously, Lester was CFO for several software/technology firms including Tracts, a SaaS leader in mineral rights and data acquisition, ipDatatel (now Alula), a leading devices and services provider in home-automation and security, and StratITsphere, a data-center and IT/cybersecurity consulting firm. Earlier in his career, Lester held financial management roles with international O&G and energy services companies.
Lester obtained his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in finance from Rice University.
Vice President of Engineering
Shawn has served in the software industry as a professional application developer, leader, mentor, and executive who specializes in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Information Governance (IG) solutions. Shawn’s focus is on building high-performing software development teams utilizing Agile Methodologies to achieve business objectives within Product Development. Shawn believes the only sustainable competitive advantage is leadership development.
Prior to joining Gimmal LLC, Shawn co-founded RecordLion and served as the principal engineer, where he was responsible for leading the consulting engagements and leading the software development teams. Prior to RecordLion, Shawn served as a senior software engineer at KnowledgeLake, where he was responsible for leading a team of software developers.
Shawn holds a BSBA and a BA – International Studies from the University of Missouri - Columbia, and a MBA from Lindenwood University. Shawn lives in St. Louis, Missouri and enjoys photography and camping in his spare time.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Veronica brings more than 10 years of experience building and leading marketing teams that focus on analytics-driven lead generation programs. She is an expert at driving and managing demand generation campaigns that accelerate pipeline growth and establish brand awareness. Veronica deploys modern marketing methods to ensure sales and marketing alignment and business growth.
Veronica holds a Business Economics degree from Westmont College and is passionate about combing the art and science of marketing to increase revenue and convert prospects to customer advocates. Prior to joining Gimmal, Veronica led marketing teams at BuildFax, a property condition and history data company, and Personify, a Rubicon company. She was also an established marketing leader at Citrix for 7 years.
Vice President of Product Management
Patrick is Vice President of Product Management at Gimmal. Among the many IT companies Patrick has founded in his career, he is the co-founder of the market-leading migration software company, ECM Wise. Patrick has 18 years of experience as a Project Manager and Business Analyst in the field of Information Management and Records Management with both OpenText and Microsoft SharePoint solutions. Prior to starting ECM Wise, Patrick had extensive experience leading ECM teams at respected organizations such as Nortel Networks, City of Calgary, Enbridge Pipelines, and Nexen Energy ULC.
Patrick possesses an unmatched knowledge and ability to translate business needs into technology requirements that support the company’s business objectives to successfully manage all phases of IT projects from needs analysis and requirements definition to vendor selection, implementation, and training. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from the University of Calgary in 2001.
Vice President of Client Success
Jason is the Vice President of Client Success at Gimmal. Jason is responsible for the client journey from implementation through support. He works with clients to successfully implement and support our solutions. Jason has over 10 years of leadership in software product development, client support, and professional services. Jason has a proven track record of achieving the strategic goals of the organization and driving business results.
Prior to joining Gimmal, Jason held leadership roles at WorkForce Software and Personify, a Rubicon Company.
Director of Human Resources
Kim is the Director of Human Resources at Gimmal. She has more than 15 years of experience in HR with an emphasis in benefits and HR service center operations. Kim holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in HR from the University of Texas at El Paso.
Prior to joining Gimmal, she worked at several private equity companies, including CLEAResult, the leading provider of energy efficiency solutions in North American and Personify, a Rubicon company.
David brings extensive experience leading IT services organizations to Gimmal Group and has led organizations with revenues in excess of $100MM. His experience includes leading high-growth companies, building successful solutions and focused services in established companies. Prior to joining Gimmal, David was the President of CPSG, a nationally recognized consulting firm focused on delivering high-quality consulting services within the Identity Management and ERP space. Prior to joining CPSG, David held executive leadership positions with Comsys, Lante Corporation, Luminant Worldwide, Align Solutions and BSG. He began his career with Arthur Young (E&Y). Mr. Quackenbush co-chairs the Emerging Technology Council of the Houston Technology Center.
David graduated with a BS in Economics from Texas A&M University. He is involved in a variety of community service activities, including Child Advocates Board of Directors, Nottingham Civic Association Board of Directors, and a member of the Memorial Drive Methodist Church Board of Stewards.
Mike has been a leader in Enterprise Content Management and Records Management for more than 30 years. He spent his early career with Accenture and Booz, Allen & Hamilton. He was a co-founder of two successful Content Management companies, BSG Consulting, and Align Solutions, which went public as Luminant Worldwide. At both of these companies, he led Content Management teams in the development of solutions for a wide variety of clients.
He is a graduate of Rice University and has an MBA from the University of Texas. He is a past Chair of the AIIM Emerging Technology Advisory Group (EmTAG). He is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the AIIM International Board of Directors, as well as the Boards of several community and civic organizations. He was an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year winner for 2008.
