Gimmal Group’s core value- proposition as a superior ECM/RM consulting and integration firm is continually enriched by our focus on the capture and repurpose of our collective knowledge from client engagements. We brand this collective knowledge “Gimmal Works”. Gimmal Works includes three core types of solutions: re-usable assets, solution frameworks, and shrink-wrapped product.
Our reusable assets include generic project artifacts, documents, code, test harnesses, methodologies, information models, and work processes. We have a centralized repository that stores this information so that it is easily located and reused by our consultants when it is required by their project. Gimmal Works assets speed our delivery and reduce risk for our clients. They provide for rapid response to market demands, reduced time-to-market, increased customer responsiveness, and rapid solution implementation.
Gimmal Works Solution Frameworks are robust suites that are purpose-built for a particular application. Our frameworks are frequently undertaken in partnership with leading technology vendors. They demonstrate the value and viability of our reference architectures aimed at solving industry specific business challenges. Our Frameworks encompass complex technical and business issues such as: Legacy system conversion and migration, Work Processing for Documentum, Documentum and Sharepoint Integration, Document Integrity and Comparison, and ECM Planning.
Finally, the Gimmal Works shrink-wrapped software is sold and supported by Gimmal Group as a commercial application. The Gimmal Works Workshare Connector for Documentum is an example of this type of solution. Our commercial application integrates content into an ECM repository to expedite business processes, ensure content integrity and change management and meet compliance and content management objectives.
