As an Open Text partner, Gimmal assists our clients with enterprise-wide deployments of the Livelink solution suite, including Records Manager and Discovery Server. In addition, we actively participate in the integration of Livelink solution with Microsoft’s MOSS 2007 collaboration tools. To assist in our enterprise deployments of this heterogeneous environment, we have specified and developed additional functionality to automate and streamline the integration between the two solution sets.
Some highlights of our team’s efforts include:
- Assisted in product evaluation and selection projects that included many of the modules offered by Open Text.
- Experience with the planning, design and implementation of a large Livelink-based ECM/RM systems.
- Extensive experience with the development of integrated ECM systems, including components from EMC / Documentum, MOSS 2007, Microsoft Exchange, Open Text, IBM, Lotus Notes and others.
- Designing and building enhancements that leverage the Open Text Services for SharePoint (OTSFS) integration provided by Open Text. Enhancements include integration of the archive capability into the customer’s business processes and workflows, as well as ensuring synchronization of content between MOSS and Livelink.
- Designing and building automation components that generate Livelink structures for enterprise deployment based on a central source definition. Components that are generated include Categories, Attributes, Record Classes, Record Series Indicators, Folders and business rule configuration.
