FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 17, 2011 – Houston, TX – Gimmal, a leading Enterprise Content Management and Records Management (ECM/RM) professional services firm founded in 2002, launched an Outreach Program to support national and local charitable organizations. On a quarterly basis, employees nominate organizations that they would like to support either through cash donations and/or volunteer time.  Based on a peer review, nominations are reviewed and funded.  A wide spectrum of organizations have received time and funding through the Gimmal Outreach Program.

Gimmal has supported Child Advocates, Inc. and Generation One for several years.  Child Advocates, Inc. mobilizes court-appointed volunteers to break the vicious cycle of child abuse. The organization speaks up for abused children who are lost in the system and guides them into safe environments where they can thrive. Gimmal President, David Quackenbush, has been leading the organization as President of their board since January 2011.  “The Gimmal team has been fortunate in its success for almost 10 years. We are proud to be a firm that believes in recognizing our good fortune and paying it forward to good people in our community” said David.

Gimmal employees have contributed holiday gifts to families selected by Generation One, a non-denominational ministry located in the Third Ward of Houston, Texas and is committed to the spiritual growth and physical rebuilding of the impoverished areas of the Third Ward. Generation One organizes the response of those who have a heart to serve and volunteer their prayers, talents, resources, and sweat to improving the quality of life in this historical part of Houston.
