ARMA Houston, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to records management and the authority on managing records and information, recognized Gimmal for its outstanding achievement in the field of information management with the ARMA Houston Information Management Achievement Award.

ARMA Houston began as a small group of visionaries that has grown to nearly 450 members over the past 50 years.  The organization has worked tirelessly to provide records and information management education, records management awareness and activism, and assistance through community outreach.  Gimmal is an active sponsor of ARMA Houston and many of its employees are members.  ARMA Houston gives out a series of highly regarded annual awards to organizations that have made significant contributions in the Houston business community.  In addition to this award, this year Gimmal has had the distinguished honor of being named to the Inc 5000 List for the 5th consecutive year.  The company was also recently named one of the top 5 systems integrators in Houston and has been ranked on that list for the past 5 years.  Gimmal has received several awards from the Houston Business Journal (HBJ) including placing #32 on the Fast 100 award.

“We are honored to receive ARMA Houston’s Information Management Achievement Award.  As a systems integrator, Gimmal has captured best practices from client engagements to develop both the Gimmal SharePoint Enterprise Framework and our SharePoint Compliance and Governance Suites.  The framework provides the “how” in a strategy to facilitate organic adoption of SharePoint by understanding how people, process, and technology work together to ensure adherence to corporate information management policies” said Mike Alsup, Senior Vice President, Gimmal.
